Education at OSSB happens in classrooms, through related services, the ever popular music program, in the library and media center, through extra-curricular like athletics. Resident life continues the experiences after school for those living in the dorms.
The youngest students at the Ohio School for the Deaf and the Ohio State School for the Blind receive loving attention and education through The Alice Cogswell Center and the Early Learning Center. Students are ages six weeks to five years of age (or when they enter Kindergarten).
Education happens both inside and outside the classroom at OSSB. With daily classes, Expanded Core Curriculum, Related Services and Athletics, students have a full day of learning. Residential students continue with activities after school hours through the Resident Life program.
