Dr. Chris Ross

Chris Ross is the Assistant Director of Professional Development and School Improvement for the Ohio State School for the Blind and the Ohio School for the Deaf.  She also currently serves as the Assistant Director of Teaching and Learning at the Ohio School for the Deaf. Prior to joining the administration team, Dr. Ross worked for 13 years as a speech-language pathologist at the Ohio State School for the Blind.

Dr. Ross earned her Bachelor of Arts, Master of Arts, and Doctorate all in Speech & Hearing Science from The Ohio State University.  She holds State of Ohio licenses in speech-language pathology and educational administration.  

She is an avid life-long learner with a special interest in early language development and hopes to support OSSB/OSD staff in their life-long learning journeys. Dr. Ross is a member of the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA) and an executive board member of the Division of Deafness and Communication Disorders for the Council for Exceptional Children.
